Kimberley Annan is a visual artist working with photography, moving-image and print. 

Kimberley’s photographic practice began in the darkroom exploring traditional techniques, and drawing them into contemporary spaces.  Moving into the discipline of video, the tactile nature of film photography remains fundamental to the aesthetics of Kimberley’s work.  Her visual imagery leans on the gentle pace of traditional mediums as a response to today’s rapid image culture and consumption. 

 Collaboration is a key component to Kimberley’s practice, and she has been joining forces with artist all over the world to make art, bridge differences, and build a vibrant creative community.  Since completing a Masters in Fine Arts, at Elam, School of Fine Arts, Kimberley has moved within the creative spaces of visual art, dance, and music, as a director and cinematographer.
